Yeah, they said Sean Miller would never coach again, too.

We will see. If I were a betting man (I’m not) I would bet that cal is not at uk past next year, and most of their “highly ranked” players will not be eligible by mid-season.... I’m also about 95% sure Miller won’t coach next year

Was mentioned with bam, and Knox, and the ‘reports were that those guys were just the tip of the ice berg.

Where was Quickley mentioned?

Knox was cleared pretty quickly. The only thing linked to Bam was a dinner. Not saying it stops there, but UK seemed to not be implicated in anything major unlike Arizona and a few other programs. I've never been happier to not be an adidas school lol.

Dang, Dallas breaking news. I think it all comes down to how deep the FBI want to go down the rabbit hole. If they were hellbent on it, I have no doubt they could probably find dirt on nearly every single D1 P5 school. UK, UT, etc etc all probably bend the rules to varying degrees in recruitng.

But like I said when this all came out a while back, I'll lose my you-know-what if we go down for a paid player or two while UNC gets away with ineligible players for 20 years.

Bye bye darrington is what that tells me

Again I don’t think the 2 are related, but I will add that imo from purely a “business” standpoint and for Tennessee next season, it may be best case if he were to leave. I don’t see him having an impact regardless, opening up another spot would allow adding a freshman PG and then looking for best available post help either another freshman or grad transfer.

I just think him referring to Pg specifically as the need suggest it.

As far as him giving the vibe no one is leaving the same thing was said last year after his end of season presser

Definitely possible, and also very true, in fact you may be correct.

Like I said, would be a win-win for Tennessee imo, I don’t see it impacting next years team.

Darrington has been in the program for almost a year now. It makes little sense to try to replace him with a grad transfer guard. Also, another JUCO won't help balance the classes which are still out of whack.

I don’t see a JUCO happening...freshman, graduate transfer, or sit 1 transfer.

We could use a guard in the rising sophomore class. Definitely don't need a guard with two years to play with Bowden, Bone, and Turner in that class. A 3 to play 2 guard would be a possibility. IMO if there's a grad transfer added they'll play in the paint or will be a very good one that has a high IQ that will catch on quickly. Darrington in his 2nd year in the program will be difficult to recruit over with a grad transfer guard.

My first call would be Jalek Felton. All day.

Mine too. Been saying it for weeks. Location, PT, winning team, etc., all working in our favor, plus Rick and Roy are pals. I'd figure a connection there may seem like a good fit, but haven't heard anything. Maybe Roy has suggested Rick to steer clear?

I would say we add a frreshman PG and then...

Best available, whether it be grad transfer big, or a big who has to sit a year, or freshman etc.

I’m not sure what it was Felton was rumored to have been involved in, but saw his attorney made a statement saying no wrong doing was found...but still don’t know what it was rumored he did.

Mike Finke is leaving Illinois and will be a graduate transfer, 6’10” 220lbs, averaged 10ppg 5rpg and can step out and hit the 3 ball. Not a world beater by any means but he’s played a lot of P5 ball and we could do a lot worse with a 2nd scholarship.
