I am sure they are, but interest doesn't always mean they offer. Looks like only low major offers so far.

Tennessee has 1 spot open, and that spot is going to be held until Petrusev makes a decision. I see very little chance Tyler Harris and Tennessee have much mutual interest, only way would be if something happened in the spring imo.

Wow, I completely stopped tracking this one and had assumed he committed and signed with Memphis in the fall...

BasketballRecruiting.Rivals.com - Undecided four-star Tyler Harris considering fourth visit

One of the top available point guards in the senior class, four-star Tyler Harris is going to need to take at least one more visit before making a spring decision.

The high scoring 5-foot-9 point guard has taken visits to Iowa State, Colorado State, Memphis but decided to hold off until signing during the spring. While those three remain active, others like Tennessee, Clemson, N.C. State and Xavier have also been involved.

Harris discussed the three programs he visited as well as Tennessee where he's planning to visit officially in late January or early February.

Colorado State: "I like it out there because Colorado, just being out there it's a whole different vibe. The coaching staff has been recruiting me hard, I mean really hard. I love that about the coaching staff."

Iowa State: "That was my first official visit and it went great. They have a great fanbase and the coaching staff is great. I have a really good relationship with them and I like their style of play. The players made me feel like I was already part of the team, they kind of took me under their wing. Lindell Wigginton, if he doesn't go to the NBA I feel like me and him could be a tough backcourt together."

Memphis: "When I was on my visit it didn't even feel like I was in Memphis and that was actually my first time ever being on campus. I really liked campus and I know that staying home could be great because I could be like a hometown hero and coach Tubby (Smith), I like him a lot too. They are selling on the hometown hero.

Tennessee: "I'm for sure going to take an official visit to Tennessee. I want to try and take it in late January or early February because they have kind of turned things up one me and are on the rise."

RIVALS' REACTION

Based on speaking with Harris, the Tennessee visit has a good chance of being his last unless somebody he can't say no to jumps into the mix. The Volunteers seem to have caught Harris' attention over the past few months and have emerged as a strong contender for his services.

Though Harris said there's a chance he could end things after a visit to Knoxville, we would bet on him waiting until at least after his senior season ends before making any kind of call. Iowa State nearly had Harris done in the late summer, Memphis has the hometown angle and at Colorado State Harris knows there's no question that he could be the man.

If we had to bet today, though, we'd expect things to come down to Memphis and Tennessee.

Updated 2019 rivals rankings, Tennessee targets...

6- Ashtan Hagans
13- Jalen Lecque
18- Josiah James
46- Marcus Watson
80- DJ Burns
88- Trey McGowens
108- Kira Lewis

Is this current? Also, is there a comprehensive list of 2018 recruits that TN is currently flirting with?

1 spot in 2018. 3 spots in 2019. 4 spots in 2020. Up to 5 spots in 2021. But JUCOs, redshirts, transfers in and out, etc. usually moves the cheese quite a bit.

1. James Wiseman
10. Jalen Lecque
20. Josiah James
33. Marcus Watson
79. Kira Lewis
120. Trey McGowens
122. DJ Burns
188. Jason Jitoboh
202. Davonte Gaines (Tennessee commit)

BasketballRecruiting.Rivals.com - Injury postpones visits, commit date for four-star Khavon Moore

The recruitment of Khavon Moore may bleed on for another few weeks. Originally planning a Feb. 2 commitment, the top-50 senior from Geoergia has decided to postpone his college decision after suffering a broken leg.

A member of the Rivals150 and a strong four-star prospect, Moore remains one of the top seniors available this winter. After becoming his Westside High’s all-time leading scorer at over 2,000 points, Moore injured his leg, which changed his travel plans.

“I am not able to travel on any official visits because of the broken leg,” he said. “I have to reschedule my visits and my announcement. I have a cast on my leg until Feb. 8 and then I will be able to travel.”

Moore took an official visit to Florida in the fall, but the Gators are no longer in contention for his commitment. College interest has not been lacking though, as Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Tennessee and Mercer have remained in touch the most often, he said. Along with those five, Virginia Tech and Illinois are two others working their way into the picture.

Moore, a super versatile wing that can play anywhere from the one through the four on the offensive end, is valued for his playmaking skills and long-term potential as a multi-positional defender. He has become a better jump shooter in recent months while continuing to shine as a rebounder and creator for others.

Spending an official visit to Texas Tech was on the docket for this weekend, but with the injury, things have been put on hold. Oklahoma, Ohio State, Tennessee and Mercer could be in line for an official visit before things come to a close, as the Hokies and Illini attempt to nudge their way into the mix.

So Vols have Top 15 Anfernee Simons already in for a visit and strongly considering the Vols, Top 50 wing Khavon Moore at least considering the Vols, and Top 75 PG Tyler Harris also feeling the Vols pretty strongly.

What to do what to do...:whistling:

If Simons says no, it’d be hard to turn Moore away, but unless another spot opens up I’d go with the best available pg. jmo

The issue with that is I don’t expect an answer from Simons until May or possibly even June, my guess is that Harris and Moore will both have committed and signed by April.

Hopefully if their is attrition, the conversation has already taken place. That would at least give a life line.

If I had to guess..... Ziti is saying UT has only one spot and it's wishful thinking that we get 2 out of 3, unless somebody leaves the team

Nah. I was talking about this a month or two ago and was told we couldn’t do it. It was impossible. We don’t over recruit.

Don’t want to argue about it on this glorious day.

We don’t? It’s why I said I would like to find a way, thought that was pretty clear? If Fulk for example announces in March he’s transferring that gives us 2 spots with Simons not likely to commit(if he goes college route) until May-June.
