His coach indicated that Tennessee was definitely a factor in his recruiting and that the Vols would be in it til the end. He indicated actually that he thought Tennessee had positioned themselves well. FWIW

Bleed - seeing in the Appeal that Cordova's Tyler Harris is taking a visit to Memphis. What's UT's chances on this kid or is Barnes looking else where?

Tennessee has 1 spot open, and that spot is going to be held until Petrusev makes a decision. I see very little chance Tyler Harris and Tennessee have much mutual interest, only way would be if something happened in the spring imo.

It's a swing and a miss because I think it's clear the staff wanted a decision this week and him to shut it down. Now maybe we come back and get a hit with 2 strikes but I don't like it.

If you land the guy you wanted all along it's hard for me to consider that a swing and a miss. The kid is from Serbia and for all I know has assured the staff he's a Vol but wants to take advantage of a couple free trips, who know. JMO

Didn't he say in the same article that he also may take some other visits? VQ had the first article and while they mentioned he could make a decision they also mentioned that he may opt to take some more visits.

Yes he said he was going to make a decision or take more visits. Obviously one of them was more optimum for us.

You can madam Cleo all the quotes and assumptions with the additional visits you want. But you have Zero evidence to support your complete and total speculation on this guys decision. Your trolling Bruin, just admit it.

That's what we do here especially when prognosticating the decisions of recruits.

The bad: Petrusev is going to take official visits to Utah and Gonzaga coming up. Barnes went to Florida last night to see Petrusev and was unable to lock down a commitment.

The good: Supposedly Gonzaga prefers Kamaka Hepa, so maybe Petrusev doesn't get the feeling he's their #1 priority like Tennessee did. Not clear whether or not parents with attend either of those visits with him.

They've obviously wanted it over for awhile, I highly doubt they went into his school and suggested Petrusev hold off until spring to sign and see as many schools as possible lol
