November of 18 is earliest he can sign. Not sure what the rush is to get a commitment from him.

We're recruiting the position heavily in 2018. Land any of the 4 stars we're after and the early signing of a 2019 could become problematic, especially for him.

Maybe it's Plan B. He may want to go somewhere else if there's a highly rated SF added in 2018.

I agree. They haven't given me many reasons to question the evals. This kid must have gotten a lot better since his highlight tape was made. It isn't very impressive other than him being a lefty. Competition looks suspect at best too. Based solely on what I have seen and know, which is obviously very limited, I just don't see the rush for a 19 kid with his offer list. Hopefully he is another Ian Steere, although Steere looked much more impressive on tape.

I'm willing to give the staff the benefit of doubt based on recent history, but this one does have me scratching my head a bit.

This could debunk the lazy recruiting narrative. It's easy to offer the top 50 rated players and to follow who the blue bloods are offering. Being early at finding and offering good ones that are under the radar is harder.

We just landed a 2019 4 star (according to 247) 6'7 wing out of NY and people are upset ...will be interesting to see if Basilio narrative changes since the rankings have been updated. Same kid ,different ratings,3 days difference. Same tone?

Who is A. Collins (C). Scout list him as another 2019 commit along with Gaines. Am I losing my memory or has he not been discussed?
