I expected him to influence us more offensively ASIDE from positioning well or passing out of position. Cause I remember watching his highlights when he was at Utah State and he did a lot more for them. And we were about as mediocre as Utah State when he was there (didn't look that stat up).

From the videos I've watched of him, he seems to be a Darrington type. Content to pass it off or shoot. Plenty of time to develop though and as you say choose his home.

Davonte Gaines, he's a 2019 from a NYC. He came to the elite camp last week and the staff liked what they saw...of course Basilio doesn't make one mention of the fact Barnes recently did similar with Ian Steere who then blew up and is top 100 now according to most services. Basilio' agenda a biased opinions are why I no longer listen or click his stuff.

He's gonna have to gain a lot of weight to make it in the sec. gets most of his buckets off pit backs and dunks against smaller defenders.

Basilio has always had a fanboy mentality as a "journalist". It's why he's rarely taken seriously in his field. He thrives off being controversial and teasing the rumor mills. He has always had agendas and has never attempted to hide them. I used to listen for the entertainment value and comedy, but I find him completely intolerable anymore. Haven't listened in years. The guy is a hack.

Best radio show in Knoxville by a mile and has been for my entire adult life.

He does hate barnes though.

That isn't saying much. I used to love his show, but it isn't what it used to be anymore and he's a clown with no credibility anymore. It might be the best "show" in town, but that is an indictment of everyone else IMO.
