There are a total of 3 scholarships available in the next two classes. Barnes seems to be holding out hoping to land inside recruits that will make big splashes. He's already loaded up the roster with role players. He has plenty of wings... I bet most 4&5 stars are in the 6'5" plus or minus wing type.

Well, I hate it. I feel like we really screwed up with the Cuonzo hire after Pearl had built the program up. And all that is completely squandered. I really like Barnes, but, dang, he's not a good enough coach to win with lesser talent. Of course, fact that he beat Kentucky buys him a little extra patience from me.

Last season's KY team was very underwhelming. They lost to Auburn and Vandy on the road also.

Purposely lagging.

Possible that our admin wants to keep a very low profile and not draw attention of the NCAA in case the actions of one former coach come to light and get us on probation.

This could really be fuel for a side conspiracy.

The Tyndall situation is closed so far as the NCAA is concerned. They are just the defendants is a lawsuit about their practices. That is not what is driving our recruiting efforts (or lack thereof).

So now we're qualifying wins vs Kentucky? A team with multiple, multiple NBA talents, and you're going to justify and discuss why they lost to us instead of why we beat them. Unreal, especially since I know if Donnie Tyndall were coaching that Tennessee team, you and SD would be personally calling the Pope to expedite his canonization process. And in your minds, it wouldn't matter if UK were fielding 5 blind paraplegics.

It's only one prediction though. You'd think if there was any noise about him committing tomorrow, more analysts would have predicted by now.

They may be too late...think he's already scheduled all his OV's, I suppose he could always cancel and replace with Louisville though.
