I think you maybe right BTO but in the crazy world of recruiting you never know. I mean CRP is one heck of a recruiter

He seems to have lost his luster a bit this cycle, they have missed on a lot of guys, hell Uyaelumno cut them from his final list...that's why you're seeing them now target some lower ranked guys than they typically do.

Uyaelunmo what? Cut what?

We were talking about Louisville, what are you talking about, keep up Cal!

I looked back two or three pages, but could someone (BTO) give us an updated official/unofficial visit schedule? TIA

Summary from VQ & other outlets:

Isaiah Stokes- arrived Thursday evening, Iowa State has some momentum but the Vols have a chance to make a strong impression this weekend. He has been quiet so it's hard to take anything as concrete with him, much of what is out there is speculation.

Tyler Polly- also arrived Thursday evening, shaping up to be a Tennessee/UCONN battle with a decision possibly coming as soon as next week. Not ideal size for what Vols need but he would add length and is more than willing to bang in the post and do the dirty work.

Victor Uyaelumno- scheduled to be here next week, at Southern Cal this weekend after a Vanderbilt visit last weekend. Vols remain a major factor here, Rick Barnes' has done a good job building a relationship with Victor.

Chase Johnson- at Florida this weekend, scheduled to visit for the Alabama game still but there's a good chance that visit doesn't happen.

Sean Mobley- name to keep an eye on, staff was in to see him while in Florida this past week. Ranked #142 in the composite rankings, 6'9" 225lb power forward with offers from VCU, WVU, Dayton, Oklahoma State, NC State, Bostonian College, Penn State and UCF. If Vols don't land 2 commits in September he's a guy they likely turn the heat up on, but hopefully it doesn't get to that point obviously.

BTO out of all these guys who you think commits to us in the early signing period? I think it'll be Uyaelumno and 1 of Stokes/Polley. Or I think if all goes well this weekend it could very well be Stokes and Polley. What say you BTO?

The 247 article said that Iowa State has at least one assistant coach with heavy ties to Memphis, one of the reasons Stokes is considering them. They do have a great BBall venue and fan involvement, I will give them credit for that.

Steve Prohm, the head coach, coached Cam Payne at Murray State...Payne is from Memphis and has basically become a legend around Memphis to other kids. He reached out to Isaiah when Prohm got the ISU job and has formed a good relationship with Stokes and has been selling him son Prohm for awhile.

Would be very pleased with that, but id love it to be Stokes and Uyaelumno. Think we could get stokes this weekend if we really wow him? I think we land one of Polley and Stokes after this weekend. Then I think we get Uyaelumno next week.

Could they get Stokes? Sure. Do I think it's going to happen? No.

I would like all three but know that is not likely. We need size so Victor Uyaelunmo would be a big get. He is 7ft tall or 6ft 6 on Barnes chart.

Per VQ:

Visit for Stokes went about as good as it could've, no commitment though as he is intent on taking all 5 visits. Very impressed by Barnes and how he interacts and treats his guys, big draw because of immediate PT...likes Jarnell played here but is clear that won't be why he would come here. Iowa State visit next, then TCU, Florida and UNC will be his final visit. There's a chance that visit to UNC never takes place though depending on how UNC fairs with other targets between now and then.

Little out of left field here, but this years football team so far, has reminded me of Cuonzos team his last yr here. So much hype in the off season only to see them start the season lackadaisical and seemingly unmotivated. But the deeper in games and the season the more the team started to show its potential.

Here's to hoping the football team has as strong a finish as the basketball team.
