Great news on parker. I think we get that done but obviously with the other news my opinion isn't worth much.
Will welcome Williams but I am in germs corner on saving the spot.
We're just gonna have to realize this staff evaluated and targeted Williams early, and despite guys like Bruner or Parker becoming available, they continued to kee Williams at the top of their list. I'm not saying you have to agree with it, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it will definitely be interesting to keep track of his season and development over the next 4 years.

As for saving the spot, I don't think this staff is concerned about the numbers, think they're well aware there's a couple guys that may not make it by signing day 2017.
VQ said he wouldn't be in until Saturday morning, it's not set, if he's a fall commit have to feel we are about a lock, if he holds out til spring I don't like our chances.
Grant Williams, PF, Providence Day (NC), 2016: Youre never going to worry about effort with the future Tennessee big man. Never. Paired against a big Oak Hill frontline, Williams stepped into the ring and threw haymakers like hes been there before. The 6-foot-7 forward played above the rim and played with strength below it. Never one to back down from a challenge, Williams was good in defeat and did all that he could for his overmatched team. Williams signed with Tennessee after the game.
STATS: 23 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 from 3, 6-11 FT), 9 rebounds, 5 rebounds
John Fulkerson, PF, Christ School (NC), 2016: High energy, high production and good athleticism were the common traits thrown around scouts row when watching the future Tennessee Volunteer on Friday against 22 Foot Academy. The 6-foot-8 forward had a good game against a bigger and more athletic team. Fulkerson played very well in the match-up and was the best big man on the floor for the game.
STATS: 14 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 from 3), 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 block
