Seems strange to me that he has only been playing organized, competitive basketball for two years after this quote from the article, "Kyles father Joe, a 6’5′ former player himself was part of Toronto high school Eastern Commerce’s first ever OFSAA championship in 1982. He later spent four years at Niagara University in Western New York. Alexander’s sister Kayla also plays competitive basketball where she was a standout at Syracuse University, drafted to the WNBA and now makes a handsome salary playing professional ball overseas." What's up with that?

He didn't wanna do what everyone else was?

Just my opinion but I think with how quickly things moved with Owens and St.Johns that he already had been giving plenty of thought to leaving before Tyndall was let go

Not possible. Nobody would leave with Tyndall as the coach. That guarantee was given by SeniorDrill.

+25lbs, seems like a big difference, also rated much higher, and don't recall UK&KU pursuing TO, do you?
Somehow I got the impression that most thought we need a post player with an immediate impact, not one who even his dad says needs a year at the collegiate level to get his feet wet. Can we recruit both with 3 spots?

Yes with the combination of one PG. Then any of these combinations.

1. Kasongo/Alexander
2. Kasongo/Izundu
3. Alexander/Izundu

He is an upgrade from owens(Alexander) then the other 2(Kasongo, and Izundu) are ready to play right away. All 3 are very good players and recruits. Then at PG its either Anthony Collins or Lamonte Turner, and if that doesnt work then he may take all 3 big men and roll one year with either Bonds or Phillips at the point. Thats just if they cant get a PG this class, but i think they will.

A little from alexander:

“What I’m lacking on offense right now, I make up for in defense,” Alexander said. “I’m a rim protector. Every defensive rebound is mine, and I try to get every offensive rebound. I can run like most guards.”

Now, Alexander hopes to make up for lost time. The chance to make an early impact is first on his list of priorities.

“I don’t want to go somewhere and redshirt,” he said. “If I’m competing and battling, I want a chance to earn a starting position.”

Insert Ebuka Izundu & Ray Kasongo

Also, Alexander's dad said he needs to play his freshman year not redshirt, Owens dad said he needed to redshirt his freshman year, see the difference?

I know Vincent Price and Mongolian fleas are important, but does anybody have any idea who we might be targeting for that last '15 scholly? Thanks, and I'll hang up and listen.:hi:
