Not the players themselves , he's earned the right. But anyone with brain can tell he is more active this recruiting cycle than before
I think it is safe to say that they are certainly more visible. Now is that because they are actually doing more, or because they are more noticeable coming off a successful, top-15 season and heading into another as a preseason top-15 team? I don't know the answer to that, and to expound it, if we actually land a higher caliber of players, is it because we worked harder or because we are now a more attractive option?
Definitely a combo of things. More schollies, sights set higher, more visible, more active, top 15 team, etc.
But its obvious to me we are more active this spring and have more traction. And we have our sights set higher.

Another consideration is perhaps these are kids they have been on since their freshman year. So we have a better connection and more invested in these higher ranked kids. Perhaps it took that kind of long-term investment combined with any of the other reasons we've named to become serious contenders with some of these big-name kids.
Back to Lecque: He said in an interview before when talking about reclassifying that he views himself as a one and done player, and if the situation he wants to go into doesn't allow him to be one and done in 2018-19, then he's fine with not reclassifying and staying in 2019 class. So I'm not sure if that opportunity would present itself to him this cycle, but it might in 2019. I just wouldn't get my hopes up about him coming period, but especially in the 2018 class.
