I'm not happy about 2018 recruiting no. So I kinda felt like we needed 2019 to be a really good class and then I'm told "no, that's not true." But now we are admitting that the pickins for 2018 that are left are slim.
Talking out of both sides to protect RB.
It's ok to be open and honest about our recruiting and quit trying to pretend it's something that it's not.
What people really dislike is me saying things that are true that they don't want to hear.
And how many times have I said if we whiff in 2018 then 2019 becomes much bigger and that I will question things?
But like I said it was plausible a couple days ago we could add Akinjo and Burns to close out 2018 class, how foolish would these takes of yours look then? Thats all I am saying is that theres a long ways to go still, when was it that Porter reclassified and committed to Missouri?
Listen man. I get that people on VN can be overly optimistic about UT and recruiting and the season and such. But i'm not talking about how you "lay the truth" or wanting a "safe space" or whatever. Often times you're right with concerns you have, but you don't have to act so immature about disagreement. And worse, your response to valid criticism often times is to moan and bicker or be like "oh now the new ziti is a Rick Barnes truther" or whatever sarcastic saying you have for the hour.
Like I get that you post here a lot, so you have a bit of notoriety in the small puddle that is an internet Tennessee basketball forum, but it really detracts when people just want to chat about hoops

Good post. He won't address it though. The irony of Ziti is this, everything he complains about other posters doing, he does the opposite himself. He wants to complain about people telling him not to worry, so he tells everyone why they should worry. He wants to complain about people being optimistic about this team and this staff, so he complains about the team and the staff. It's called differing opinions. He just doesn't know how to speak to other people like an adult, so he resorts to this old ziti/new ziti routine, or whatever childish rhetoric he feels like pursuing.
He used to be a good poster, even though we disagreed half the time or more. Now he's just a troll, and sadly, he doesn't even realize it. In fact, he'd argue tooth and nail the opposite. After all, he's the victim.
