Nice. Good measureables and highlights.

Yup, that's Uyaelumno and Thomas who have both said recently Tennessee is recruiting them very hard and they plan to visit in the coming months (Thomas visited last year also).

Uyaelumno is listed at 6'10" 210lbs and is a composite top 100, Thomas is now also listed at 6'10" 210lbs and is a composite top 150 (trending up rapidly). Landing these 2 in the early signing period would be about as good of an early get as you could hope for considering the need for size. Uyaelumno is a true 5 man and rim protector, Thomas is a 4 and a guy who could likely play the 3 before the 5, he has very good ball handling and perimeter schools for a guy his size.

Agree man. Also considering how hard Tennessee is working, and after seeing your list of other schools for Victor earlier, there's not really anyone we couldn't beat out.

I want both and feel like we are Positioned well to get both.

Isn't 210 awful thin for a 5? Shouldn't be hard to add to either of them, but just a question.

Yeah that's quite a jump from the other services for Stokes. Sounds like a pig and a poke based on last name. Imo

Brandon Huffman in an interview this past weekend at the Pangos AA Camp listed Tennessee first and then Baylor when asked which schools are recruiting him the hardest. Was very complimentary of Tennessee and Rick Barnes and mentioned his history is success and with bigs and said he feels Tennessee would be a good fit for him.

Huffman is 6'9" 230lbs and plays for Word of God Christin Academy in Raleigh, NC. He currently holds offers from: Baylor, Georgia, New Mexico, Ole Miss, Rutgers, South Carolina, TCU and VCU. Huffman is from Alaska so he's been a bit under the radar, however his move to NC and playing AAU ball has gotten him the above listed offers over he course of about the past 3 weeks.

He's a beast.

Yea, I really like the post guys Barnes and staff seem to be prioritizing.

Victor Uyaelumno, Lance Thomas, Brandon Huffman and Isaiah Stokes are all very good targets, Stokes IMO is probably the least impressive but would still be a solid get IMO.

Not sure they'd do it but I would love to see us land those first 3 guys and be done for the fall. Thomas is a 3/4, Uyelumno and Huffman are both more of a 5, would solve our size issues in a hurry.

Just thinking about it gets me giddy. Barnes is really getting good relations with the younger guys, maybe he plans on staying longer than expected, or passing the torch to an assistant?

I don't think Barnes took this job thinking he would only coach 2-3 years and be done, if I had to set the O/U on years at Tennessee for Barnes I would go with 7.5

Even if he only planned to be here 4 years though that still requires him taking the job and recruiting kids that are 8th graders or freshman, making the relationships with younger class kids is a huge part of the build.

Completely true. even though I think kids shouldn't be able to talk to colleges until their sophomore year, I'm not mad for us doing so.

Great news...

2017 four-star center Victor Uyaelunmo tells @Phenom_Hoops he will visit #Tennessee tomorrow & #Pittsburgh on June 28th.
