Hey Guys,
Ok, I admit it...I'm a seasonal Volnation guy; I disappear in the off season and suddenly reappear a few days before football kicks off. But it's always a blast to check back in & hang with you guys for the games..glad to be back!
So here's my topic: I think it's fair to say that, at a steady pace since the turn of the century or so, Neyland has lost the intimidating edge it once had. The feeling has kind of set in that we are just as likely to lose a home game as win. In fact, there have been stretches over the past seasons when I've been more confident playing big games on the road than at home.
I think last year in CDD's 1st season, we went 4-4 at home, albeit with a tough home schedule and just a tough season of circumstances altogether.
So is this the year we start - just a little bit - to reclaim Neyland as a place opponents fear instead of viewing as a near bye week?
