He plays with everything he has. Jokes aside, no one can deny that or ask for anything more from him.

I really want these kids to get one memorable win here. The time seems to be running out.

Isn't this what Tebow gets blasted for? John Wayne wouldn't be crying. Just saying.

The difference is that Tebow was used to winning. It means so much more when you have never really gotten a big win. Especially when everyone always counts you out. And to come so close and to have it ripped away hurts so much more for those players who put it all on the line the whole game.

"Marion" would have been crying in pain at the first snap.

Nick Reveiz will leave this university as a bonafide Vol Legend.

No John Wayne wouldn't cry, but if you have ever been apart of something as emotional as that game was it will make you cry. Especially when you pour everything you've got into it!! Dude it hurts like H***!!

Did you really just compare this situation with acting!? Nick Reveiz would've made John Wayne cry if he was going over the middle...

perhaps he's upset b/c he (and 2 other vols) 'watched' an LSU receiver convert a 4th and 14 and b/c he was in the gap on the final play and didn't make the play or as the anointed team leader he should have realized there were 13 vols on the field.

Or the fact that for 60 minutes an "outmanned" team stuck in there and essentially won the game. When you work that hard on something, and that happens its tough. Its not his job to make sure everyone is off or on the field, that's what a coach is for. His job is to read the offense and bust some heads. But thanks for playing, exit stage right for your consellation prize.

+1 ..They threw to his side of the field on that conversion and he was late in coverage, thus the conversion. ALSO he's probably a little mad that he was in position to make a tackle on the re-do that gave LSU the win.

I know the kid gives his all, but the last two minutes of that game were horribly executed. Sorry. Coaches and players have to take the blame. No more moral victories, let's put some numbers in the W column and play some damned football!!!

That's what sucks the most about yesterday.

There were only 4 big-time games this year that if we won would've been a 'signature' type win. Alabama, Oregon, Florida and LSU.

Alabama and Oregon would be the most improbable, while I thought we could have a shot vs. UF or LSU. But now after yesterday's debacle, all we have left is Bama and that would take a monumental, nearly impossible effort to have a chance.

Of course I want us to beat UGA and SC, etc, but while wins against them, or anyone, would be nice, it isn't in the same category as if we would've won against one of the four I mentioned above.

Last year we have a real chance at Bama and blew it and now this year our one real chance at a signature win was yesterday and we let it go up in smoke. Oh well, I guess we can finish out our .500 or worse season and try again next year. yay.

I did and if that's all you took from that, I don't know what to tell you. For the past year, when a gator acts up all we've had to do was remind them of Tebow bawling on the sideline. It's been done here many times. Now, one of our does it, and it's all heart. Given, I would've probably done the same in either situation and I'm not blasting either. But you can't make fun of one and praise the other.

Tim Tebow had it made the day he walked on campus at Florida. Nick Reveiz earned his place and scholarship on this team. Dont ever compare the two. And John Wayne never strapped on a helmet in the SEC either.

Tebow also had a lot more talent the day he stepped on campus. I'm not saying either one was right or wrong, but I've seen plenty of references to Tebow crying on these very boards. And as I said before about the John Wayne reference, you think Gen Patton, Douglas McAurthur, Sam Houston, Neyland, ect. ect... You get my point.
