Ray Kasongo to transfer

One should be careful when he/she make assumptions about people and their intelligence. I have found in my family that those who are Physicians and Space Engineers seem to be a bit more intelligent than most people. Additional activities do not seem to distract them from their profession.

Cool

JonRothstein: Fri 11:26am Tennessee transfer Ray Kasongo will visit Iowa State next Thursday, source told @CBSSports. Recently visited TCU.

You're probably right, still impressive that they want him. If he does good.....

We are at the desperate portion of the recruiting season, guys who are 6'9" 220+lbs and athletic are not readily available. I will be shocked if Kasongo becomes a major contributor at wherever his next stop may be.

Alas, we gotta make sure that this time around the deal and his development are for him to become a major contributor! Goes without saying foul trouble must be corrected

I agree with some of the comments. It's surprising and i'm grateful for the interests

Iowa State has an outstanding program. IMO that would be a great place for RK to land.

Wish him the best of luck. But "the deal and his development", will require him working and improving to earn his playimg time wherever he ends up . He may connect better and be more motivated by another coach.(and seriously I hope he does. He's got too much potential to be wasted)

Hopefully the finger pointing starts and ends with him looking in the mirror this time.

I doubt he transfer again. This just some hater talk. Let him get his shine cause they way better then us at this moment.

Well this is about his 7th school in the past 6 years so I wouldn't bet on him staying out for the next 2-3 years, Burt you can if you'd like. If he couldn't beat out guys like McGhee, Reese and Alexander I seriously doubt he'll be beating out the guys at Iowa State.

Looking at Iowa states roster, and all I see is 1 center and 2 or 3 forwards. So, unless the new recruits aren't on yet, I'm pretty sure he'll see the floor of he's cleared.
