It would definitely be interesting to see him at LMU but the foul trouble concerns me. Lot of quick players in the SAC and at that level.

I understand the potential desire to go out and get another big this season, but bare with me for a moment.

We currently have a big coming off a pretty good season in Schofield. We do have two "bigs" coming in in Grant Williams and the Fulkerson kid.

Do we really want to tie up our last remaining scholarship in a potential transfer that isn't incredible or another 2016. I realize college and NBA are different, and there aren't financial contracts involved, but look at the teams that go out and splurge on players that aren't necessarily the right fit just because they feel like they need to do something. Greg Monroe in Milwaukee, truly wasn't the right fit, but they felt like they needed to make a splash in free agency. The Bucks were coming off a season in which they made the playoffs. Sure, some felt Monroe would take them to the next level, but now Milwaukee faithful which he wasn't there and they are stuck with him for another four years.

We aren't going to be the best team in the SEC next year, so why throw away this scholarship just because we feel like we need someone. Why not ride this season out and see what 2017er out there can help our team a year from now?

^^^^^^

I don't think they're just looking to add anyone, especially in the way of a high school kid, that seems obvious to me. They're pursuing some graduate transfer bugs who we would have one year of eligibility, they won't tie up a scholarship for multiple years so there's nothing to lose on that front. They're also looking at transfers who would have to sit, so they wouldn't be additions to the roster for 16-17 anyways, they would be eligible come the 17-18 season. They could practice and bond with the team just like Turner did this year, but just would not be allowed to play in games. Again, the 2 transfers they are looking at are pretty highly regarded guys, so I don't think it's as if the staff is just looking to take any big body as you made it out to sound.

He will play 30+ minutes a game and average 20 and 10 wherever he lands. Borderline best post player we have ever had. In the same conversation as Bernard King, Tobias Harris, Alan Houston, Chris Lofton, Dale Ellis and Jarnell Stokes for best player in school history.

Such a shame our awful coach couldn't take this future lottery pick and turn him into an All American. The offense SHOULD have been built around Kasongo. Hell, he can play the 1-5 and is the best defender on the team.

UNBELIEVABLE that the best player in the SEC rode the pine all year on a sub .500 team. Saw on bleacher report that he beat Ben Simmons in one on one 10-0, and sh!t, I believe it, he's a future NBA all-star and bleacher report has the best writers and is reliable as fuggggg.

Do you really believe Kasongo can average 20 pts/game & 10 rbs/game wherever he plays? Borderline best post player we've ever had? :eek:hmy:

Bernard King, Dale Ellis, Alan Houston, Jarnell Stokes, Chris Lofton, & Tobias Harris were players not as good as Mr. Ray Kasongo? I really really hope you're being sarcastic & not being for real. :loco:

Without a doubt. Skill set and athleticism remind me of LeBron. If this were 10-12 years ago we wouldn't be having this conversation because he would have went straight from high school to the NBA.

Kasongor was my boy

Still am bro lol, wow I haven't been on here forever. Ray is good hes already visiting schools! All I'm going to say is that TCU and CALIFORNIA and Arizona state are after him HARD..why? Didnt they see how insignificant ray was for the tenn program. If rick barnes couldn't get this kid to try why do they think they can? Humanity never stops to amaze me lol
