well, i just bought some tickets to the Lil Wayne concert in Knoxville for the 25th. Does anyone know what to expect at a rap concert? This is my first, and i know there isn't gonna be top flight citizens there. So, any heads up would be appreciated.

It's at Club 106 in the Old City. There will be plenty of preppy white people there.

Don't make eye contact. Rap fans can become very aggressive when they think they are being challenged.:) Seriously though, just go and enjoy your concert. No need to be apprehensive. But take your piece with you.:p

Project Pat and Lil' Wyte were last weekend. I didn't go but I've seen them and other rap concerts multiple times.

Don't go for the music or because you like the songs. If you go just go to have a good time and they happen to be on stage. At rap concerts they always play 1-2 minute clips of a ton of songs with lots of umm "crunk interludes". The first time I went to a rap concert I went because I liked the artist and I was very very disappointed but I have no learned to expect nothing.

Where is Lil' Wayne playing? I hadn't even heard he was coming.

Wow I just looked the show up and it was $55 plus I'm sure lots of fees. To be completely honest with you, expect to be disappointed. No rap concert is worth that much.

I've been to Memphis' "Crunkfest" the past two years and the first year I was one of eight white people (my friends not included) and last year I remember seeing like four. It was only like $30 and there was a lineup of like 10-12 rappers...and I still felt like I didn't get my money's worth.

Advice: Free parking in the womens basketball hall of fame parking lot. Or at least that's where we parked when we went to see an ice bears game.

eh, i'd rather just pay $5 dollars and walk right across the road. Don't know about walking too far after a lil wayne concert. But thanks.
