So wait - you're saying you think a guy in the top 5 can't be the number 1 guy in the country? That seems silly. You're saying he can only possibly be rated 2-5.

I see your point however take last year for example. Calvin Johnson was the best wr in the nation period. So if you are doing a list of that top 5, there is no way 2-5 would be better than him.
Or say Jordan during his prime with the Bulls. If you named the top five players in say 1992 it would be Jordan number 1 and then you could have a pick 'em for 2-5.
Or Tiger Woods with golf. I think a guy can be "top 5" without being considered number 1, if there is a clear cut number 1.
The Calvin thing services your point very well, and I'm not arguing your point. But I'm pretty sure Meach had better numbers. Everyone all year long last year raved about Calvin, but honestly I think the raves were more about the skill set he brought to the table than the actual numbers he put on the table.
Not really on topic, but why not butt in. Its a slow day...
I see what your saying but Meach's numbers wouldn't have been as good either if he had Reggie Ball throwing him the ball. Pretty similiar stats for their final year but Johnson had the better career.

You're a homer even down to the kicker! That's commitment.
I guess you have never seen Succop kick. Last year as a sophmore he made all of his kicks except for 3 that were blocked, one in the vandy game, and one in the houston game. He has one of the strongest and most dependable legs in the SEC. Dont hate on my opinion when you dont know what you're talkin about.
