That's funny.

But, at my husband's mom's house yesterday his sister showed me a video her husband took. They have a black bear that has been coming into their yard. The freaking thing stood up and was eye level with one of their bird feeders! The feeders are 7ft off the ground, and the bear grabbed it and pulled on it til he got it tore off the line! Oh my word!!!

Did I mention his sister lives about 200 yds from his mom? I didn't wanna go outside! :eek:lol:

Bears are a lot stronger and faster than some think. In Montana, they have a bear preserve where they observe and test different levels of intelligence and strengths of bears. Mostly Grizzlies. One test they did was bury a food source about a foot deep under a large metal dumpster. The size of the ones you see in industrial environments with two lids. They were testing the sense of smell. The bear comes over and sniffs at the dumpster. Then, it flips the dumpster out of the way and goes for the food. I never knew the strength until I saw that.

You know the pictures you see in ads for the Smokies, and zoos, and stuff? The still shots they had looked just like that. Her husband was in the house taking the pics....and the bear was, I swear, looking straight into the camera!!! I'm not scared of much, but it freaked me out looking at that! He LOOKED at the camera!!

We have a neighborhood coyote. Haven't seen a bear here, just the coyote, deer, and raccoons. Probably need to let my dad know though. He lives about six miles from there.

Next time you're going to the landfill let me know. I've got some stuff you can take with you. :)

As for the Michael Sam kiss, I just turned away. It wasn't that it was two guys kissing, I just turn away anytime I see two people kiss. I'm a prude. PDA makes me blush. Hugs don't bother me, but public kissing weirds me out. Guess I have intimacy issues.

tell comp where they live, he'll swing by with a bunch of trash in the back of his pick up, and when the bear jumps in, he'll haul him off
