Cool, now I'm grandfatherly aged. Naw, I used to go to Floyd Fox's bootleg joint on Red Bud and I went to school with Franklin's (the other bootlegger mentioned) kids. We all shot pool at Comer's and McDonald's downtown. Dad used to take us fishing on the river banks across from town. I'll bet that I crossed paths with McCarthy in the 50's. Don't know if that's his best, but it's my favorite due to the memories.

Blu, I have no idea to the quality of the establishment I mentioned above, but they have a beer on tap from Mayday. The Mellow Mushroom down your way does as well. I highly, highly suggest you try it. It's the only place I've ever been where I was impressed by every beer they brewed. The Angry Redhead and Evil Octopus are the best two, imo.

Mellow Mushrooms food is underwhelming.

I read about that one. Might be one I'd be interested in. They have a local brew in Bozeman named Pig's Ass. I bought it just because of the name.
