We had an axle come off a truck at the dirt track down here two years ago. Killed a lady. They had no real safety precautions. Ppl pulled lawn chairs up around the track behind a tiny maybe 2 foot wall. I went once and told hubs no way was I ever going back.

We had a modified jump the wall and kill someone here as well. That said, you've probably got a better chance of being killed by lightning than injured by a vehicle (or its parts) watching a racw

You wouldnt say that if you saw this track. Most around here are pretty good though honestly. I ran cars for years at our local 1/4 mile. Just for fun though. Nothing serious. Always Mustangs that I had to get home in one piece.
