Watched Bachelor for first time last night. Wouldn't that show be more interesting if it had some average girls. The premise is he is supposed to fall in love. are we saying you can only fall in love with hot chicks? seems rather shallow and dumb. why do women watch that stuff?

They start with 25 girls....there is usually 6-8 plain janes in the mix. The bachelor sorts them down to 12, then 10, then 8, then 6, then 4 then 3, then 2, then 1. There have been a couple of somewhat plain ones to win..the very first bachelor (Alex) picked an average divorced girl. And there was Andrew Firestone on there who picked a plain one. But as in life, the hot ones usually win out.
