I took a week off last summer. I know of a beach house in Destin I can get for 500 bucks a week. It's to bad all my friends are knocked up.

Destin is soooo busy. I like no people around when I vacay.

I love Destin. We usually stay next door at Ft Walton Beach. Old Bay Steamer has some great steamer platters.

I love Destin. We usually stay next door at Ft Walton Beach. Old Bay Steamer has some great steamer platters.

We didn't go there, Harry T's was quality. Go on Thursday and Nat might get to fire the start to the weekend cannon.

Destin West Beach and Bay Resort is a very nice place. It's actually at Ft Walton though. They have rooms on bothe the Bay and the Gulf. The bay side has a lazy river, 2 hot tubs, an outdoor heated pool for the cooler months, and a zero entry pool that is connected to the lazy river. My daughter would rather go there than Disney.

I have to go there on business sometimes. It's funny to hear the locals talk about it. Especially that huge resort right by the bridge. They hate it. Hellenbach has some great pizza tho. There and McGuires are the only places worth anything IMO.

We're planning on going next year. Was shooting for Feb, but they are only gonna have a 3 day break. Might have to move it up to October of this year.:dunno: You need a vacation to recover from the vacation...
