yea my previous owners were morons. when renovating downstairs bathroom I discovered they hung shyt on the wall with double sided tape. well the wall tore so I had to replace some drywall. wtf, who does that

Ours was just not totally finished. Guys wife died while building so they didn't finish it and it sat vacant for a while I think. Had to put in carpet, windows and some other stuff.
