Yes. They make my life hell.
not sure. I'm n the graphics industry now but want to advance myself at my current job or go somewhere else. We have an IT dept.
They make people in Knoxville drive to Chattanooga to have software installed. Total bull****. Most inefficient people I've ever heard of.
I'd suggest you look into development given your current skill set.
BS' ing is never an issue. Relocating is not high on my priority list though. Spent my whole life moving and was hoping to set up shop in Knoxville. Not completely averse though.
That is the government for you. There is no such logic. I just make sure to call them at any hour with the most mundane of problems I might be having. I love getting them out of bed.
I'd suggest you try to get a job at Dell in Nashville, preferably working with one of the government contracts they have. Might score yourself come clearance and they have a tuition reimbursement program. Four-five years of experience, a degree, and some government clearance will open some doors for you.
I use to work there, and as such I know a ton of people there. If you want to shoot your resume to Gmail (Aavoxx@) I can possibly offer some assistance.
I hate being on call.
I may end up asking your assistance on that. I gotta ponder on that Nashville aspect though. Like I said, not averse, just not keen on it. Thanks.
If I could move back I'd do it. I lived in Murfreesboro. It was the ****.
You could hang out with heart and 3!
There is very little in this area to break into at an entry level. You might try TekSystems and/or PremierSystems, but that's hit or miss stuff.
Definitely something to ponder on. Murfreesboro the place to be?
