if it was open i'd say go to the cheetah, but they're closed. I'm sure you could find someone 'working' on university ave.

ATL is a strange city in a lot of ways though. There are pockets of good and bad and weird everywhere. I can think of at least five areas where you can go from the nicest part of town to one of the worst.

Turner field is a great example of that. Walk in one direction, head into downtown and a nice enough area, go the other and boom! It ain't nice no more.

yep. go south and hit pryor rd and everybody here would be like 'what happened to smitty?' but go east toward grant park and it's ok.. it's weird.

I don't know the name of it, but they are really redoing that area around Ga Tech where Ikea is right now. That used to be a whole lot different.

Plus, that whole Atlantic Station layout is nuts. Those lofts above the shopping centers have got to be crazy pricey.

However, you go three or four minutes outside of either spot and you are definitely asking what happened

talking about that area between tech and atlantic station? that's call home park. little do those people paying 500k for a loft in atlantic station is that there is a water treatment plant about .5 miles away.

Yep. That's what I was talking about. Never lived there - just spent a bunch of time there on the weekend when I lived in Phenix City, AL.

Can't see paying $500K to live above a Publix. Just weird.

home park is typically tech students. you have 5/6 people men or women sharing a house. wait women? gives me an idea!

Nah, but her family and my family all came to our house this year. My brother has 3 and 5 year old boys and they were all hopped up on candy and chocolate. I get a little peace and quiet at work :)

Had Christmas with my family last night. My sister has 2 girls under the age of 6. I was feeding them candy all night while my sister and brother in law weren't looking. They were bouncing off the ceiling when we left. My brorher in law kept saying "Christmas has the girls out of control ". I was laughing my ass off.
