i'm dreading katie's graduation.. my graduating class was about 500.. they're up to about 800 now.. i expect around 2000 by the time she graduates.

Graduations are cool for the parents and grandparents maybe the siblings not so much for everyone else.

My nature story for this week. A few weeks ago, I noticed one squirrel and a bird or two scrounging through the yard for food. A week ago, I started throwing out some songbird food and squirrel food. Then, after a few days, I started noticing a few more squirrels and 3-4 birds. I kept throwing out the food. 3 days ago, I put out two squirrel feeders. Basically, 2 planks with a nail to hold an ear of corn. They walked around it until last evening. Then, they nibbled a bit a went back to the yard. This morning, I had 12 squirrels all over the place and probably a dozen or so birds.

I saw that on Google the other day. Was thinking it could have been one of my squirrels since they were so slow to figure out the feeder thing.
