Now that they have identified the specific gene the practice, especially in women who have a family history, is becoming more common

seems weird to me. I mean if they come to me and say they have identified a gene that says I MIGHT get testicular cancer I'm not going to rush out and get the ballz chopped off.

The article I read she said her probability of breast cancer was 87% and ovarian was around 50% but I'll double check the #'s. her mom died in her 50's of bc if I remember

Those are the right numbers. I agree with some that I don't care about any celebrity news, but this may be good to increase awareness for some.
