Do you actually hunt up snakes bubba do like a snake rodeo or whatever they call it or you just hoping to see one.

He cast a shadow in the moonlight taller than me and was pretty low. I ducked out of pure instinct like I was being strafed. I'd hate to be a rodent at night around that beast.

no. We are going on a 4 wheeler ride since it is too wet to do any work around here. If we happen to see poisonous snakes, we shoot them with a 22. The only good poisonous snake is a dead poisonous snake.

With you there, we only ever see copperheads here.
When i was young and in scouts an old farmer nearby brought a 6 ft rattler dead and beheaded to our scout hut and we cleaned it, tanned it and put the skin in our patrol flag but I've never seen one dead or alive since in this area of Nc and certainly not that size.

I am in need of a new hat band. Thats why I need to kill a rattler.


On a side note. Just saw on the news where some people in Pine Bluff, Arkansas claimed to have seen Bigfoot.

I talk to my dog like he is a human all the time. Just this morning I got on his ass about letting the moles burrow in our yard. Been a long time since I had a dog that I liked. Wife ran over all the rest before I got to know them. I once had a fiest/boxer mix that lived to be 18 years old. He went every where with me when I was younger. If he could have told stories about some of the stuff he had seen, I would be in trouble.
