85? I think that was the first if not mistaken. I had an 85 Glide with the Evo. I bought an old Sporty off a guy I worked with in the late 80's. It was a 69 with a 1200 engine put on it. He just got it back from being blueprinted, Eagle carbs added and some other stuff and fell on some hard times. He asked $600 for it. That sum***** would haul ass.

That's what I meant. Just noticed I left off a 0. Weather here is up and down this week. Probably be getting in the 100's in a few weeks, though. I'm ready for it to get hot. Want to head up to Idaho and Montana for some golf.

The Sporty was a basket case when I sold it. That winter, I tore it down to make some mods. I powder coated the frame, lowered it and had some other goodies to hook on when I got transferred to Texas. Sold it to another guy I worked with for $2000.
