I had a 74 Harley and it had a top speed of 140 on the speedometer. I was coming back to Memphis from Sardis Lake Mississippi on the interstate that has some long stretches of straight flat blacktop. I said what the hell, will this beech go 140 and cranked it down. Got up to 120 still accelerating and it felt like I was floating on a cushion of air. Started wondering what would happen if I hit something in the road and backed down. What a pussy.
