Can't let life get too boring. A couple of days ago, I climbed a 20 foot tower that holds the lights at the railroad tracks. It was swaying so much and then the train came roaring by. It was crazy as hell.

Okay, first you have to measure your standing reach, then you jump as high as possible. You take the difference in the two and that is your verticle leap. Bending your knees has nothing to do with it.

What I'm trying to say is this,

If I was trying to jump on a 36 inch counter, I know I could because my vertical(without bending my knees) is 29.

36-29=7.... I would need to get up 7 inches more.....

Therefore knowing my knee to foot is longer than 7 inches, I know if I bend them completely I will be able to accomplish this feat.
