I am more experienced than you are. I have been around a lot longer than you have. That's all. I do have above average IQ, though. But, experience has something to do with that, too.

Do you think that if two people with above average intellect have a baby it has a better chance of also possessing an above average IQ?

I know you said smarts are not genetic, but it just seems like when two people with lower than average IQs have a kid, they are more likely to follow suit. It could just be because of the environment they are brought up in and the opportunities they are afforded, though.

Haha, you still have me beat by quite a bit, regardless. VT is another guy who is really smart. And a lot more mature than I am so it is magnified.

I don't think so. I've read about too many geniuses that came from average parents. It's weird that as much alike as each human is to another, we're that much different in all aspects. I can sing, play any instrument I want, write and arrange some music...but, my brother can't carry a tune.....At all. He can take a piece of deer skin and turn it into a work of art. I can't. We had the same parents.

My brother and I came out quite a bit alike. We even used to look identical. He's going to be massive, though.

Newt, if we could breed intelligence, we would be parrying up super intelligent people to produce an extremely superior race. Hitler tried that. Didn't work then, won't work now.

In Bio we did quite a bit of focus on genetics and there are some interesting aspects. The stuff about Mendel bores the **** out of me, though.

I think some people would try that, but in many cases love would win out. I'd rather fall in love and marry and reproduce with a woman of average intelligence than be forced to reproduced with some uber intelligent, but hateful broad.

And hopefully, we never let someone try to weed out a population again. But **** goes on in Africa that really bothers me.

I don't have much faith in the human race. I can see it happening here somewhere in the future. I think George Orwell was right, just maybe a century off in his timing.

What if the cure to cancer has been found and is being covered up? Maybe it is being repressed as a means to keep the population in check, maybe there is just too much money out there for hospitals, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies, I don't know. But we have put so much time and research towards it and don't seem to be making much progress. Sadly, I could see our country doing something like this. If the government is getting kickbacks from pharm or something.


Also, what if the cure to aids has been found? What if it is being repressed because they fear the population in Africa will just skyrocket and there are not enough resources to sustain what they have, as it is.
