Dental hygienist. I was at Weber State University a month or so ago to talk to someone I know. As I waited, I joined a conversation with two students of their dental program. They were super excited to talk about what they were doing and loved it. Anyway, bottom line, I asked them what the earning potential was right out of school. It's a two year program. They said that students entering the workforce right out of school were starting between $45-$50,000 a year. Just FYI. I did confirm it with my hygienist who said she started at $50,000.

That would definatly be something to consider Sly, thanks for the info. A two year program would definatly be easier than four also that salary would be very nice.

Definitely something to look at. I was thinking that you wanted to go in a direction to help people. This is a bit of a direction, but you're helping people proactively.

Sadly, I spell better and have better grammar just totally blitzed than some do straight.

Intelligence is something that interests me. What decides it? Can it be passed on or is it arbitrary? Why can one sibling be brilliant and the other be dim?

I hope I have smart kids. I am going to do everything I can to make sure they succeed. I wonder how pissed they will be if I make them use full words and correct grammar in texts? Hell, there won't even be texts most likely once I get to that age.

Have you seen some of the posters here?

I don't remember typing this or really anything else from that night. I think ITC and I played COD, but that may have been another night. I remember GBO asking for an update on my blackout progress and I most certainly met the criteria.

It is random and hit and miss, I think. Don't know of anyone who can identify any gene that actually passes on intelligence or talent. Genes can transfer physical attributes but not mental. I'm sure there are some exceptions.
