I really want to live in the states, its a dream of mine, I just don't fit in over here....

I am going to come over to the states this year to see a Raiders game in LA...... My first experience of the states, I can't wait!

I am sorry, you will see the worst of America at a Raiders game.

Also I tell you what, we can swap places. You live in TN and I will take care of London for ya.

Well, I decided that I didn't like Football, Rugby, Cricket and all the rubbish we Brits fight over. They all suck. So I decided to search around for a sport i liked, it so happend it was the NHL which I took to. I was 10 at the time and I decided to support the Hurricanes because I liked their uni's (I was 10, give me a break).

Then I saw NFL and NBA advertised during games so i decided to give them a try... I watched the Seahawks Steelers superbowl and decided I liked NFL even though I had no idea what was going on. (I was 11, give me a break).

I decided to support the Packers because I saw Favre play a really good game against the Bears the next season and I Took to him...

After that I discovered NBA in 2007, the only player I knew other than Jordan was Shaq so I supported the Heat.... I was able to see them play in 2008 when they played a pre season game over here... One of the best nights of my life, the only one of my teams I have seen play...

Then later that year I watched my first MLB game which was the cardinals vs the Rockies and I enjoyed it but didn't take to the teams, so I supported the Dodgers because I really liked watching Nomar Garciapara play...

Lastly, I wanted to properly get into College sports because I watched a couple of games last year and liked the atmosphere of the games and the high scoring nature. I met a guy who went to UT at a wedding in July and he kind of convinced me to give the Vols a try, and I never looked back.. I now watch them in Basketball too...

Sorry, it's a long tale, you did ask though...
Switch to the Grizzlies, they need some international fans. Well, they have some since Marc Gasol is from Spain.

That must be hard. If all the stereotypes are true, no one in the UK cares about American football. You are probably in the minority for sure!

Hold your horses... There are plenty of American football fans over here, it's growing in popularity. I go to the International series NFL game each year and it's the best weekend for me aside from LM...

The forums are clogged with me's....

Deal, you can have London... It sucks.

Is it really that bad at a raider game?

i am also going to see the kings hopefully..

Practical. I like it.

My babies each got a new toy - a stuffed reindeer for one and a ball for the other. They are both fighting over the reindeer.

It was great, can't complain. Great family time and some good, homecooked food. I'll take it every time.

A neighbor gave Behr a stuffed snowman, I told her thanks but he can't have it, she asked why.....So being a bad dad I said okay, I'll show you.

A little over 30 minutes later I took her out in the yard and showed her, she said "OMG where is the rest of it.... I lifted his tail.

He stuck the rest of it up his butt? :eek:hmy: :eek:lol:

There is also a reasonable market for the NBA over here. any place that can sell out two Nets vs raptors game is quite reasonable I might add. We get a pre season game each year, except this year because of the LO.. They always sell out..

Over here I have seen:

LA Kings vs Anahiem Ducks, 2007
Heat vs Nets, 08
Jazz vs Bulls, 09
Patriots vs Bucs, 09
Broncos vs 49ers, 10
Timberwolves vs Lakers, 10
Raptors vs Nets x2, 10
Bucs vs Bears, 10

All sellouts except the bucs bears because of the lockout, it meant the tickets went on sale late and many people didn't have time to plan the trip and get together the money...

I loved London when I was there!

I dunno. I just don't like Raiders fans. They are crazy.

You will be fine though, these things are a pretty rare occurrence.

I hope your right, I don't want any trouble. I will be going in raider gear though, not like the NFL game over here this year when I went as an all out cheesehead.

CHECK ME OUT GUYS! me and my dad at the game!!!!!
