I have nothing against the practice, but I'll not go to one again. Had a bad experience, in Texas, with one. Probably lucky I didn't end up in jail.

Get a referral to a PT. Go in the first day and tell them not to baby you, you wanna get well and if all they have to offer u is heat and ice you'll explore other places that will make ur copay go alot further

I had an SI joint out of whack (actually had 1 foot about 1/4" longer than the other. Guy I went to fixed it in 1 visit. There're some good ones out there, just ask around.
Plus it was only $35 bucks, no Insurance involved.

They're probably all good. Friend of mine swore by them for back pain. He'd basically crawl into the office and be able to run out after the manipulation. I had some back pain and went to one in Corsicana, TX. Told him he could do anything but do not twist or touch my neck in any way. Things were going fine until he snapped my neck. I looked at him and asked WTF are you doing? Don't mess with my neck. So, we get back in the session and 10 minutes or so later, he does it again. I punch his lights out and leave. So, no more.

No problem sloppy. And unless the pain is unbearable I'd ask to not start any meds until you've tried rehab for a few weeks

I've always had a good tolerance for pain. I'd never want to stop all the pain just make it a bit more manageable. I've always thought that if you kill all the pain, you'd forget about it and probably do something to make it worse.

Going good buddy..sorry to hear about your back problems. How's the weather out west heard there was snow around? But you live in the flats right?
