Authentic signatures made with erasable ink can be lifted and transferred to another document with:

Masking tape
Packing Tape
Frosted scotch tape
regular scotch tape
 
It's frosted. I wonder why the frosting makes a difference? My book doesn't say. It does say though, that it picks the signature up intact and is only slightly faded when transferred.

Don't know. They used regular scotch tape before. May be something in the adhesive of the frosted that allows better retention when lifted or hold print but doesn't pull as much paper as with regular scotch tape.

It's crazy the things the CIA teaches you. I have to memorize different techniques of forging a signature then I am done!
