No, it's been idea I have had for a while. I also know I would take good care of it. I just know it is not a decision to be taken lightly.

I'm glad you're being that responsible about it. That's very rare these days.

I ended up skipping the debate. I did chest today and finished bench repping 160. Not bad for my first time back in the weight room. Then I found a friend from hs and had him throw to me as I ran routes. He threw a wonderful ball.
 
I actually pulled in just about everything. I had one ball I one handed behind the back but juggled and dropped when I tried to bring it in.

I wanted one last year, but my class schedule was not conducive to pet ownership. This year is much better, but I just am not 100% sure.

I should borrow one of Thrasher's dogs for a week, but I will be pissed if they chew up my couch!:nono:

I would just wait until I could spare the time to buy a newborn pup and stay home with him for several days straight. You make or break a good dog in the first week or so, IMO.

In your situation, you should consider rescuing.
