so a 2 minute scooter ride. You can borrow @95 Vol AlumWhere the Heat play. About a 5 minute bike ride from where I live.
not an act of God -- terrorism by China but Im not discussing freakin politics in hereI stand to lose big bucks on my bicycle tour in Spain. Covid-19 is being considered act of God territory. No refunds or claims paid. I'll fight it, but better that than a covid-19 infection in an overcrowded isolation ward.
No it’s not. Viruses come out of nowhere and everywhere. The 1918 Spanish flu epidemic apparently originated in Nebraska or Kansas, infected US doughboys in a military camp, who carried it to Europe (plus leaked out in the US), and off we went. Spain was the only country to identify it as something out of the ordinary, and that’s how it got called “Spanish flu”.not an act of God -- terrorism by China
Nah, we’re fine. We shifted our asset allocation to 70% Treasuries and CDs as I approached retirement. The 30% stock portion can jump around all it likes.Patience, padawan. Your investments will recover, and damned fine Subarus will still be for sale.

Despite an immediately-repudiated one-off report from India claiming genetic manipulation (India and China have been enemies for thousands of years), it has been clearly shown to be of bat origin that jumped species, which happens a lot.
I truly don’t care what your political viewpoints are, but the problem is that when they mischaracterize something as terrorism or what, it influences the necessary public health response.
I’m withdrawing some from my TSP (fed gummint version of a 401k) to make a Roth conversions while the market is down. Move over more shares for the same tax bite -> win.I'm not super worried about my 401k because I'm nowhere near retirement. I'm more worried about some cash I had in straight shares that I was just about to get out for various things and now that plan is fawked.
