Well, turned 16 today. Girlfriend drew me a picture on a canvas and got me dolce & gabbana cologne.

What a freakin' day. Mine started at 3 am my time. That's when they wheeled my brother into surgery. I stayed pretty well glued to that event over the next 9 hours or so until he went into recovery. Really didn't know what was happening in the outer world. SIL told me he had to stay in recovery longer than planned due to hospital lock down because of the storms. Only then, did I check weather in the south. Holy cow. Followed that most of the rest of the day. Slowly VN'ers checked in. Hope everyone is OK other than some material loses. And, usa returns to the fold. Now, where the Hell is VG?

Good morning everyone. Hope bama and slys brother is ok. Downed trees and washed away roads are awful around here. Be safe out there today guys. Bama if you read this, don't scare us by not checking in again lol!!!

Bro's doin' fine this morning. Resting and everything looks good. SIL said it was a trip driving home last night. She was in the middle of that one around 7-9 pm or whenever. She pulled over at one point to wait it out. Continued on after a few minutes and seeing it wasn't going to let up. So much hail, it looked like it had snowed. A friend leaving UT hospital last night told her there wasn't a car in the parking lot that didn't have at least one glass broken. She said their house and property was OK but all vehicles left out had some body dents from hail. She hadn't checked the motor home yet. I'm guessing that big elephant got hit a bit. Said she saw a lot of cars on the drive to the hospital with windows blown out. Again, not too much damage up/down their sections of Old Maryville/Old Knoxville highway.

We still don't have one Bammer checking in since about 6:30pm on any boards I've been on this morning. He posts on several. He's in the T Town area.

That's what I was guessing. Some are saying power out for three days. Unbelievable storms yesterday. I couldn't imagine going through something like that.
