Was a very sad story I followed for a couple of days last week. Baby was born 12 weeks premature on Sept 1. Parents killed in a car wreck on the way home from visiting. Baby dies the day they were buried

Anyway, good luck with the decisions you and your wife will have to be making soon. FWIW, my ex wife had two children when we got married. My income alone was enough to allow her to quit work for the summer. You have your wife having the option to quit work and stay home with your daughter listed as one of the pros in a "pros and cons" list. In our situation, it turned out to be a pro that out weighed all of the cons alone.
