That's what my story is about. A man letting his 10ish year old daughter stand under the branch on which a black bear was feeding. The bear became spooked and headed down the tree right towards where we were all standing. I turned and got in my car while the man and his daughter chased the bear up an embankment (to get pics). I was yelling for them to stop (the little girl was mere feet from the bear). I was terrified for her but dad wasn't even a little worried.

I was literally yelling "get her out of the way!!!" And he was standing there saying "ooh look here he comes outta that there tree!!" They had no clue what they were doing. I was sweating when it was over.

Wish all kids could be put into a situation where they would be loved and protected like they should be. Hate hearing stories of kids getting hurt

Doesn't mean they deserve to be "eaten" or whatever you said. You'd be surprised how many people think "wild animals" are ok to be around..."It's just a black bear it won't hurt you" b.s.
