All you need is to have faith the size of a mustard seed, faith being the key word. You're just going into an age where life is confusing but as you get older you'll understand some of the things that you're trying to figure out. Don't let it bother you, just lean on the Lord and believe he is right there to help you when you are in a dark time.

What if there is another universe more advanced than ours? They might be disproving these theories as we speak. Does religion cover all of it?

See that's the thing though. No one can truly PROVE that there is a Heaven or hell. That's why it's called faith. I just have to believe that he's telling the truth. He is a preacher and had an experience while he was dead. Then he was brought back to life and had all these stories to tell about seeing family and friends who had died years earlier. So no one can really prove it.

Never stop questioning. Even after an answer comes. Everyone has a set of values. Everyone doesn't have an organized religion. Everyone doesn't need the same thing, IMO.

Exactly, it's easy to believe in something and think that you are right. I'm fine with that, but I'm just trying to figure out if there really is an answer to all of it.

Maybe science will be your calling and you can discover some new stuff for future generations and the Lord will help you gain your aspirations.

I just wish there was a set way where all people could be safe and not have to worry about themselves or loved ones. I don't believe it's meant for us to know what the answer is though, our minds just aren't capable of it.

Sounds like you just need to think it over. Go with your reasoning, it was given to you for a purpose. And just accept whatever it is you come to

No way. MOST religions are too old to answer questions of today to most peoples liking (I say most because Scientology is a new religion). The questions we have today are the same as those that have been asked for thousands of years PLUS new ones. As our society grows and we become more technologically advanced then there are going to be questions that religion can't answer.

If there are other galaxies with life (why wouldn't there be) then they may be more advanced than us. Bottom line is you're never going to have ALL of your questions answered. That's because answers lead to more questions, always.

So true. I prayed during a time when I was going through a personal struggle. A time in my life that was so hard and so depressing. I wasn't for sure if God would hear my prayers and help me out but I had faith in him. I prayed a lot and all the hurt went away and it made me feel so much stronger.

Don't ever change that thought. I'd suggest politics for your pursuit if I thought it to be an honest profession. It isn't. Never has been; never will be. Doesn't matter which side of the aisle you're on. C, I question things everyday of my existence. I always have and I always will. I have my own thoughts about existence, etc. I think there will always be questions as long as this experiment continues.

I do too, I think I question things too much. I always have to know why something is the way it is. I wish I could change things, but I can't.

My dad thought there was an alien influence thousands of years ago as well. Anyways, I's headed off to dreamland my random peeps.
