I just wish there was proof, I want answers, not assumptions. I'm afraid that i'll never have answers though.
Answers seem to lead to more questions. C, all anyone can do is-Do the right thing; do no harm. The best compass I know. Unfortunately, not everyone feels the same.

Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.

Thanks Garth.

Don't be afraid C. You're not going to get the answers tonight.

Who decides the difference between right and wrong? It's all a matter of opinion, everything is really.

I hope so! I would love to just take a cross country trip and use up all the space on my computer with pictures.
Be sure to take a laptop on the trip. On a trip, I may shoot 1000 or more pics a day. Each one is around 6-8 mbs. So, I have to download them to a laptop frequently. I have three cards, but they fill up quick.

I'm just trying to figure out life and what happens after it.

Ah...the age old question. Why are we here and where do we go after? You are struggling with the questions that have been asked since the beginning of time. It all depends on your views and beliefs. The answer is different for everyone, I think.

The thing is, thousands of years ago, people thought the world was flat. How do we know that we aren't just another line of people that were horribly wrong about everything? What if 500 years from now, someone finds out what happens?

Do you have a church home? Maybe you could talk to your minister. Some things there are no proof for, you have to believe the best things will happen and have faith you're headed in the right direction.

Humans had such little knowledge back then and not enough technology to discover the things we now know. Information is like a snowball, once it gets rolling we will just know more and more. I doubt any beliefs will get turned on their heads anytime in the near future

Bam. If you do believe in God then this is your answer

Anything is possible.

I have gone to church my whole life. I have just started to question what I have always been taught. I don't want to be wrong in the end just because I listened and never questioned it. It's all just so confusing.

I will tell you a book to read, if you're a Christian, that may give you some kind of insight into what may happen after we die.

books

It is one of the BEST books I have ever read. This guy, Don Piper, dies and goes to Heaven...it's a true story.

I'm sure the people back then thought they had great technology too though. What if we are actually primitive and the people in the future prove our theories wrong?

Prove it.

Everyone has a little doubt or questioning. That IS human nature.

Science says that in the natural world:

1) Law of conservation of mass - in the natural world, mass is neither created or destroyed.

2) Law of conservation of energy - in the natural world, energy may be neither created or destroyed.

Now to me, that leaves our existence to the supernatural world. Science backs that thought, from the way I see it.
