I'll miss it 'cause I'm headed to bed. But, gotta put this out there for anyone who's never been in this part of the country. It's almost 2 am. I just stepped outside to smoke. The sky is as blue as I've ever seen it with some cool puffy white clouds. It is a sight to behold out West. Just a normal night time here.

It is. The night sky down south is much better, as you know. Look up at you see a billion stars against a black back drop with the occasional satellite crossing from West to East. I'm out for the night. Enjoy the golf if ya stay up. There's an online link here if you prefer it over TV.

One of my favorites to send me off to bed. They did a Hell of a concert in Kville for the original Hotel California tour. Amazing sound. Joe Walsh was incredible.

no ..you know a western sky is better especially in the mountains. :) I envy you..be out there in a month in CO..Steamboat area.

What do ya know it, two pretty girls come walking in and eat by themselves so we go talk to them. Next thing you know I get them to go riding around with me and my one buddy in my single cab truck. I will say it was the most unexpected good night. Maybe something good will come out of it.

I love jerseys, prolly my favorite double purpose breed. Great for beef as a steer, and gives the best milk for ice cream, butter, and cheese. Also some of the friendliest cows

Yeah, had some storms earlier. Nothing major. Was just reading through posts made after I went to sleep. VF's story about the girls struck me odd. I just don't think I'd want anything to do with some girl that would ride around with a stranger like that...JMO

I just don't see how you could ride around with a bunch of strangers you just met, screams wrong to me. Like she'd just ride around with anybody...know what I mean?

I'm not trying to down your advice Pooch, it just strikes me as........... kinda skanky thing to do. Like "Oh, I don't know this truck load of guys but I'm going to ride around and flirt with them anyway.....and then maybe.." :ermm:

@VT, I do understand what you're saying, but at the same time if nothing happened other than riding around, no one tried to initiate anything farther, and there were no real expectations of anything else, and all parties were single then really I don't see a problem, I look at it the same way as a blind date or going out with some one you maybe just met (in school work etc) they met @ mcdonalds, ate together then went riding around, I don't really think you can judge the girls' character over that, they may have just met their future wives lol :)

Well, all I'm saying is I'd want to at least know the person a little before doing something like that. I just can't see how you could gain enough trust in someone after a five minute meal that you'd put yourself out like that.

I miss the days of spontaneity, when my mind was clear and my heart knew no malice. Youth, they say, is wasted on the young, but I never wasted any opportunity to "young" when I was just that....
