I understand that, but you may never know what a persons real motives are even after you've known and talked to them for years ( see all c-dubs posts lol). And it takes putting yourself out there to even begin to build trust and relationships. When you rush to make judgments about a person or their morals and integrity, I'd wager you'd be wrong more times than right. That's how I look at it, but I do see your side of it too :hi:

I;m not judging their morals, I was just saying I wouldn't even ask a girl to ride around with me after we just met. And if she brought it up, I'd be leery.

I see what you're saying VT, but I've been around and found that the worst **** that's gonna happen to you is so random that, unless you hid from the world in a bunker, it's gonna happen anyways....

Everyone always says something like that "take a risk", well in my experience all a risk gets you is a lot of trouble and not much else. I don't have the best luck in the world, either...Ergo I stay cautious. Lots of sticky situations can be prevented by slowing down, and thinking it through. :hi:

Trade off is a lot of opportunities may be as well. We just never know :)

Yeah I see that, but how are you gonna KNOW unless you put yourself out there some, spend one on one time together, and just even taking that first step of asking out or taking a ride etc

Casual conversation in class,workplace, etc. But before I would ask a girl out or to "go ride around", we have to both be comfortable with each other. I'm sure if she was of similar mind-set to me (which is what I'm looking for I suppose) than she would want to take things slow as well.
