And there is no chance of losing your manhood?
I'll have to find me a small gun for carry. I'd like a little more range, though.
Yikes, I put this in the wrong thread. No, no chance of losing it unless someone is pretty careless. How much range does one need for self defense? I think a lot of Police forces (local, county, state) use 20'-30' feet as a guideline for use of deadly force. Meaning, if you (a citizen) shoot someone outside that range you might be charged with murder/manslaughter rather than it being deemed self defense. Make sense?
What do you think of using slugs in a shotgun, minus that it may mess up the bore?
May not mess up the bore on some. Useless to me, though. The only reason I have the shotgun that I own is because it will blow a door in half from 10-12 feet out. Mine is for home defense and nothing else so shooting slugs is not in the realm of options. If you want to buy a good handgun that will take care of business and never give you problems, but the Sig 229. If you want a good rifle to plink at stuff and have fun with and won't present problems, buy a Ruger 10/22.
Benelli makes a nice defense shotgun, but they only make one pump, I believe. Which would you prefer?
