Where did they come by the name kerosene pickles? It would be hard to be raised more country than me, but I don't have a clue on this one.

Dill pickles that are so strong they burn your nose hairs out. I've heard them called salt pickles before, but I think they are separate things. Usually takes them 6 weeks to cure in a dark place. They are really good imo, but I like pickles lol
