I'm only 4 years older than you so our frame of reference is similar. Reggie was a big loss for me, as well. '84-'90 was the pinnacle of the NBA.

The highlight of my sports life was being 13 in 1989, standing in the tunnel of The Garden and high-fiving Bird, McHale and Chief as they ran out on the court.

The series Reggie collapsed against Charlotte, game 5 at the old Garden, Kevin puts in 46, and after he puts the last 2 in, runs down the court and points to Larry up in the skybox.

Pacers killed us round 2, which started my love for Reggie Miller, he was lethal
I'm Polish, German and Scots-Irish, Cherokee.

I totally look like a Pole. All of the guys in my family, except my dad, do.

Was that 1991 or 1992?

Just went to scratch my head. Either I have a bald spot or the sun managed to burn through my hair. Either way it hurt like a biznatch.

if i heard it i might recognize it. my grandfather and great uncle used to watch it.. my dad was away on business a lot when i was a kid, so didn't watch much tv with him.
