We've all shared our predictions for how the season is going to play out in terms of Ws and Ls. But now I'm interested in your predictions for the little things that sometimes happen in games that make college football so much fun to watch.

I'll start us off.

- Dooley will make national headlines yet again for a witty/hilarious quote during a post game press conference. But this time, it will be after a huge upset victory (I'm thinking LSU).

- We will absolutely shut down Arkansas's passing game, much to everyone's surprise.

- The Georgia game will be the closest of the entire season, and will be decided in OT. Murray and Bray will trade TD after TD, and the game will be a very high scoring shootout for all 4 quarters.

- We'll hang more points on Vandy than we will on Montana.

- The team will appear noticeably out of sync during the first two games, which we will win by (relatively) small margins. Major concern will spread throughout the Big Orange faithful. Then, we'll come out on fire against Florida and win a stunner in Gainesville.

- We will run at least 5 trick plays during the season, and 3 of them will go for huge gains.

- Paladry will nail three 50+ yard FGs.

- Justin Hunter will have a spectacular TD grab that goes viral on YouTube.

That's it for now. What are some of your random predictions?

-Les Miles will be caught in the act of nervously chewing Orange grass from the Power T while being served a good ole' beatdown by Dooley & Co.

-TB will be called for a penalty after throwing a touchdown pass to Da'Rick and subsequently going "loco"

-Florida will go down in the swamp at the hands (and feet) of Tauren Poole (160+ yards and 2 TDs)

-The Vols will win 9 games + the bowl to set up a surge of momentum heading into 2012

No lie, I was going to respond with my prediction of UT-Georgia being a Murray/Bray showcase.

Hmmmm...Lattimore is held below 100 but SC holds on to beat UT in a low-scoring game.

*Vols margin of victory over Georgia will be greater than the margin of victory over Buffalo.

*Winner of the Tennessee/South Carolina will control their own destiny in the East.

*Tauren Poole will earn himself a draft pick in the first two days.

*We'll actually run on third down once in a while.

*The LSU game will come down to the final play.

*We will play four games against teams who are ranked in the top ten at kickoff.

*We will go 1-3 in those four.

We will win in a high scoring shootout with Arkansas in which both teams score 40+ and we win on Arkansas attempt at a game tying final drive on an interception by Prentiss Wagner.

Each week there will be 20+ threads started asking what channel/what time/where online for the game.

Bray throws 3 interceptions in one game
we will run a kickoff return reverse
DaRick takes an End Around to the house
We will have a number infront of "Tenn" at some point this season
an opposing QB will need to be carried off the field
A late hit penalty will cost us something big
And i hate to say it but another important player will tear their ACL

That's December 22 or 23, 2012; not 2011.

so hes saying we will be undefeated this year and working on 2 years in a row when the world ends... that would be a great way to die

*The end around will never work, even though we insist that it will sooner or later.
*Bray will throw for over 3500+ yrds and 25+ tds
*Poole will have atleast 1,300+ yrds and 15+ tds
*Jaq Smith will win all the d-lineman awards (he did in my dynasty... he had 75+ sacks in his career lmao)
*JH&DR will account for 3000 yrds of Bray's 3500+
*We will win the east and lose by a FG to Bama in SEC title game
*We will win a BCS bowl and shut everyone up (including ESPN)

There will be at least one thread calling for Worley to start against Buffalo after Bray has a bad game against a good Florida defense.

The stupidity of Les Miles will keep UT in the game with LSU, but for the 4th time in a row, UT will find a way to lose in the end.

If UT fails to beat UGA at home, the first SEC win won't come until Vanderbilt.

Marlin Lane will see his share of carries increase as the season progresses.

Dooley will 2-0 (career) on side line catches.

Chaney will gain an additional 20 lbs that will go unnoticed.

Harry Hiestand's name will continue to be mispronounced by fans claiming to be knowledgable.

Justin Wilcox will show he has more than 3 blitzes in his bag of tricks. Consequently the defense will rank 7 or 8 in the SEC in sacks and hurries.

Tyler Bray will set a sophomore UT record for attempts. His win loss record will be less historic, but improvement will be made. He will win more than 5 games. :)

The starters in game one will not be the starters in game 8. Progress will be made by some younger players and they will take over (middle linebacker especially).

Gov Haslam will continue to give mass amounts of cash to UT athletics.

Jansen Jackson will be a distant memory by game 6. It will be more like "remember that guy...". A straw pulled out of water. Never missed.

John Ward will still be missed.
